Have you ever seen Escape from New York or Big Trouble in Little China? I just watched both, weird but awesome. John Carpenter, Indie Wizard or just another Film Fuck?
you might as well ask if i've ever heard of breathing, asshole! Course I've seen those movies! What do you think was on tv every fucking Sunday in the late 80's when I was a child? Why the fuck haven't you seen them till now?! Have you ever seen Halloween (FUN FACT: Micheal Myer's mask is actually a Captain Kirk rubber mask that was heavily manufactured in the late 70's)? The Fog? Village of the Damned? STARMAN?! Wait...just stop everything you're doing right now and go watch "In The Mouth Of Madness". I think I still have the pirated VHS of that movie from back in Highschool. Hell, "Escape from New York" was fucking FILMED IN SAINT LOUIS!!!
But I digress...also, I don't praise directors or writers anymore. I know how that shit actually goes down :)
Haaha, I have seen both of those movies, as well. I think Carpenter had some wild ideas, but he also had some shitty ones, a la Ghosts of Mars. But, if you want to see a rad vampire movie, check out Carpenter's Vampires, funny and gory.
Although, I must confess, I STILL haven't seen the original the Thing. How did this escape my love of Kurt Russel?
